Advanced Alloy Services Ltd , a proud Yorkshire company, recycling expert and MMTA member has been honoured for its achievements in global trade.
In May the company received its first King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. “The King’s Award represents the pinnacle of achievement for any UK business, and we are thrilled to win the award for International Trade. The first award the business has ever entered in its 31-year history,” said owner and MD Stephen Hall.
“This prestigious achievement is recognition of the amazing work by the team at Advanced Alloy Services Ltd and our role in supporting the global supply chain of high purity critical metals and secondary revert used in the manufacture of superalloys for critical infrastructure and engineering applications including aerospace, power generation, automotive, medical, defence and space exploration.
We are proud to support the drive towards net zero by effectively recycling and recovering secondary revert and critical metals, reducing the requirements for primary metals and and the associated high carbon emissions from mining and refining. We have ambitious plans to grow our international footprint and global sales, the accolade from the King’s Award will be instrumental in helping realise these aspirations.”
