ICD has been a long-standing member and strong supporter of the MMTA. Both ICD and Chris are hugely enthusiastic about him joining the Board and are looking forward to working closely with all stakeholders to promote the long term sustainability of our industry. “Joining the MMTA Board would be an excellent opportunity to contribute to the association’s direction and relevance to its membership,” Chris said. “Geopolitical events continue to influence and disrupt the minor metals supply chain, so the need to safeguard and evolve existing supply chains is becoming increasingly important. The prospect of engaging with internal and external stakeholders, to promote the long-term sustainability of our industry is one which excites me greatly.”
Chris has considerable experience in the sustainable and ethical supply of a wide range of minor metals including Tantalum, Hafnium, Niobium, Molybdenum, Tungsten, Zirconium, Titanium, Nickel, Cobalt and Rare Earth Elements. Compliance and Marketing are also his key focus areas. Chris is heavily involved in reporting ICD’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance, and hopes to bring his knowledge and experience to the MMTA board and membership.
