ALS Inspection (formally Stewart Group Inspection & Analysis) is a global provider of inspection and analysis services to the metals, minerals, precious metals, ores and solid fuels industries. Stewart Group entered into an unconditional agreement to be acquired by ALS Group in July 2011, the testing services business of Campbell Brothers Limited (ASX code: CPB) for an Enterprise Value of 146 million Great Britain Pounds (approximately 222 million Australian Dollars). From 9th Oct 2012 Stewart Group Inspection and Analysis became ALS Inspection.

It is one of the largest and most successful commercial laboratory groups in the world, with more than 12,000 staff operating 300 laboratories in 55 countries and offering a broad range of inspection and analytical testing services.
