Stewart Group entered into an unconditional agreement to be acquired by ALS Group in July 2011, the testing services business of Campbell Brothers Limited (ASX code: CPB) for an Enterprise Value of 146 million Great Britain Pounds (approximately 222 million Australian Dollars). From 9th Oct 2012 Stewart Group Inspection and Analysis became ALS Inspection.
