Somika SARL (Societe Minere Du Katanga) was established in the year 2001 has progressively distinguished itself as a quality mining and mineral processing player, producing high grade Copper and Cobalt.

Somika has a capacity to produce annually 2400 Metric tons of high grade Cobalt Hydroxide annually and 24000 mt of Copper cathodes LME grade A equivalent.

Somika has a plant capacity to produce Copper Cathodes of 99.995% purity. Our annual production capacity is more than 12000 tonnes which would soon be doubled to 24000 Tonnes annually.

Somika also has facility equipped with 3 electric arc furnaces for the production of Copper Blister with the plant capacity of 10000 tonnes per annum.
