Other Notes
All other elements should be each 0.10% max, with the exception of Iron.
Unless agreed and stipulated in a contract at the time of transaction, all other elements should be each 0.10% max, with the exception of Fe. Elemental contents assaying outside of these advised ranges (unless clearly agreed and stipulated in a contract at the time of transaction), may form only the basis for further discussion between Buyer and Seller
Members are recommended to have material 40% minimum sampled and assayed upon first arrival of material into warehouse by an MMTA approved sampler/assayer and pass on the findings upon onward release. In such event a global independent certificate shall be accepted as long as the sampled lot size does not exceed 20 MT

Inspection Schedule
Open all containers, inspect entire contents, making note of any different markings, forms or indications of heterogeneity or contamination. Segregate if necessary. Confirm packing lists, and note all details.
Sampling Schedule
If there are no indications of material heterogeneity then sample on an incremental basis of 10 MT sub-lots. If heterogeneity is suspected select the incremental groups accordingly but in sub-lots of 10 MT or less. Sampling from all the drums for a 10 MT parcel, for larger parcels sampling from all the drums may be impracticable, consequently increase the number of drums by 20% of the 10 MT drum lot number.
The drums should be individually tipped, samples drawn with the appropriate shovel to form the appropriate sub sample to each lot, mix and reduce in size, to < 2.5mm sizing. Mix and draw bulk samples of 10 KG for preparation.
If heterogeneity is suspected then sample incremental groups accordingly but in sub-lots of 5 MT or less. It may be considered necessary to segregate certain drums and prepare samples separately.
Sample Preparation
The bulk samples can be then crushed, individually or they can be composited, to 1 mm. The samples can then be rolls crushed, mixed, milled, and a quality sample produced. The balance of any subsamples should be kept.
