ICD Europe Celebrate National Awards Win at Wembley

Sheffield-based global metals supplier, ICD Europe Ltd are celebrating this week after winning a prestigious national business award.
They beat off stiff competition from across the UK to take home the title of ‘High Growth Business of the Year’ at the awards ceremony which took place at London’s Wembley Stadium on Friday 6th December.
ICD Europe Ltd are experts in the procurement, processing and supply of a wide range of specialised metals and alloys. They supply customers in a wide variety of industrial sectors including the aerospace, medical, petrochemical, automotive, electronics and industrial gas turbine industries.
They were shortlisted for three awards in the SME National Business Awards 2019, in the following categories:
Business of the Year (less than 50 employees)
High Growth Business of the Year
Exporter of the Year
ICD Europe Ltd officially launched in October 2016, as part of the global ICD Group, and they have enjoyed rapid, yet sustainable growth over that short period.
Wayne Hawkes, Managing Director accepted the award and commented:

The award is a true testament to the ‘over and above’ hard work and dedication put in by every single person over the last 3 years. ICD Europe’s 38,000ft2 facility at Sheffield’s Vantage Park, was officially opened in August 2018. The facility is fully equipped to sort, process and stock primary and secondary metals, ferro alloys, intermediates and oxides, binary alloys and rare earth products for supply in to high integrity alloys. A panel of experienced judges scored the applicants for the SME National Business Awards. Speaking after the awards ceremony, Damian Cummins, Awards Director, said: ‘We were extremely impressed by the high calibre of entries from all over the UK and spanning a wide range of industries. ICD Europe have clearly made an impressive contribution within their industry and have demonstrated phenomenal growth over a relatively short period of time.
