The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of PT TIMAH Tbk a State-owned Enterprise, one of the world’s largest miner, smelter and exporter of tin from Indonesia. Historically Indometal (London) Limited started only as representative office, and it has grown into a trading and distribution company to market tin metal from various sources to ensure supply continuity in the global market.
Since June 25, 2018 Indometal (London) Limited has been approved by all Indonesian State Owned Mining Enterprises: PT. INDONESIAN ALUMINIUM (Persero) as aluminum producer; PT. ANEKA TAMBANG Tbk as a ferro-nickel and precious metals producer; and PT. BUKIT ASAM Tbk as steam coal producer to become their global trader which in the future will assist in the trading and procurement of their products and raw materials needs.
