AMG Chrome has now procured a 6th furnace at its UK plant in Rotherham which will continue to further uplift tonnage in the high quality chrome market. The furnace will increase capacity for second step vacuum degassing of chromium metal. The furnace is currently on site being stalled in Q1 and will be online in Q2 2025.
With vacuum furnaces running in the USA and a 6th furnace in the UK facility, AMG expands its footprint to support a continuously growing high purity market.
