We are pleased to announce that John E Porter has been approved to join the MMTA Board of Directors. His position is subject to being ratified at the MMTA’s next AGM in April 2023.
Since April 2022, John has served as Vice President—Special Metals at MMTA member CCMA LLC, an established international distributor of alloying metals and ores to the iron, steel, ferro-alloys and aluminium industries. John is leading the company’s strategy in materials for aviation, power generation and energy storage.
Prior to joining CCMA in 2018, John had been the Global Marketing Intelligence and Strategy Consultant at Arconic, building the company’s intelligence and guiding in strategy in markets for key industrial metals including nickel, copper, cobalt, lithium, molybdenum, titanium, vanadium and zinc.
