The event was held on 14nd-15rd September at NEC Birmingham. It was a packed two days encompassing recycling logistics, innovation and critical applications.
The new and revitalised event was organised by RWM in partnership with several leading organisations including the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management, Environmental Services Association and www.letsrecycle.com
It brought together the best of both events, and featured more than 200 speakers across the exhibition centre’s nine conference theatres, 150+ CPD accredited sessions, 550+ exhibitors, live material processing and 50+ vehicle demonstrations.
Exclusive free networking events included the Local Authority Lounge, Women in Sustainability, private meetings, the Careers Corner, the Innovation Awards, the CIWM Stand showcasing circular economy and much more. As a social hub on the scene, The Inn on The Green provided a traditional pub atmosphere with live music.
The MMTA again continued our partnership with RWM giving members the opportunity to share a free stand in the exhibition centre.
